Ambassador of the Month January 2025

Ambassadors of the Month

Yet again, due to the remarkable dedication and performance of our employees within Danhouse Security, it has been impossible for us to award a single Ambassador of the Month award in January, so the senior management team have taken the decision to award three separate Ambassadors of the Month Awards to the following valued members of our incredible teams throughout London and the Southeast. Thoroughly well-deserved and we would like to thank them all for their continued professionalism and dedication to Danhouse Security, their clients, and colleagues:

Edward Aggrey – Battersea Dogs & Cats Home (BDCH), London

Edward was involved in an altercation that involved a very disgruntled member of the public, Edward dealt with the situation in a very professional manner and helped deescalate a tense situation. Unfortunately, Edward was also subject to personal abuse but always kept a cool head and completely defused the situation. Without Edwards intervention it could have been a very different outcome. Ben Bishop, Key Account Director commented: “Edward’s exemplary conduct sets a very high standard for all and truly reflects the values of our organisation. A truly well-deserved award for an outstanding individual under very difficult circumstances”.

Fred Akuffo & Frank Antwi – Allianz, Croydon

Both Fred and Frank truly deserve to be awarded Ambassadors of the Month for their outstanding response during an attempt at vandalism at the Allianz building. Their quick reaction time and decisive action were crucial in deterring potential vandalism, as they effectively prevented protesters from attempting to damage the property. Their professionalism and commitment to public safety not only protected property but also showcased their dedication to maintaining peace in the community that they work within. Ben Bishop, Key Account Director commented: “Both Fred’s and Frank’s rapid reaction to the perceived threat to the property, and personally, sets an extremely high standard for all and again truly mirrors the core values of our organisation”.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

What we do at Battersea Dogs and Cats home: At Battersea we are here for every cat and dog and have been since 1860. Battersea aims to never to turn away a dog or cat in need of help. We give each one lots of love and expert care and get to know their characters and quirks so we can find them a new home that’s just right for them. All the knowledge we gather in our centres helps us to improve the lives of the animals we’ll never meet, through our work with other rescue organisations and charities. We also help people make informed choices when getting a pet, we provide training and welfare advice, and we campaign for changes in the law when we see that dogs and cats or their owners deserve better. We want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need us.
