John Fitzpatrick

Managing Director

John, a familiar name in the city security environment, has more than 30 years’ operational experience, having started his career with Thorn Security in 1986. Prior to joining Danhouse Security he was Director of Operations at Bidvest Noonan following its acquisition of Axis Security in 2021. John has overall responsibility for ensuring that all our frontline operations and our back-office support functions operate consistently at optimum levels to ensure all our clients continue to receive service excellence that is delivered in a personal and tailored manner.

Edward Holmes

Commercial Director

Edward is similarly very experienced in working with the demands of blue-chip customers, having started his career with Securitas in 1997. A former Business Development Manager with Axis Security and Bidvest Noonan, Edward works closely with the operational management teams to ensure its clients’ and organisations’ expectations are met.

Pritika Varsani

Finance Director

Pritika has more than 10 years’ experience in the security industry and is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA). As Finance Director she has overall responsibility for the completion and timely distribution of the management accounts, the automation and standardisation of management reports and board packs together with the implementation of agreed improvements to systems and processes within the Finance department. This also includes responsibility for Billing, Credit Control and Purchase Ledger.

Ben Bishop

Key Account Director

Ben is a a passionate and dynamic Manager with over 25 years of experience. His commitment to excellence drives him to build and lead high-performing teams that prioritize collaboration, empowerment, and exceptional customer service. Throughout his career, he has successfully created and nurtured diverse teams, fostering an environment where both team members and clients feel valued and understood. He prides himself on his strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and trust, which he considers the foundation of any successful organization. Possessing NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications, along with a Level 5 certification in Counter Terrorism Management, he is well-equipped to create safe and effective workplaces.

Waleed Eltayib

Operations Director

Waleed, who is responsible for day-to-day operational matters, started in the industry more than 20 years ago as a security officer and has risen through junior, middle and senior management to become Director of Operations for his previous employer. He has significant and proven experience in the management and operational delivery of innovative blue-chip security operations to organisations and iconic destinations including The Crown Estate, Paddington Central, Southbank Place and The Scalpel.

Nick Wood

Owner

Nick’s introduction to commercial Security commenced in 1981 following a successful Military career. After several years of senior positions with the KS Group, including the management of numerous multi-disciplined commercial and shopping centre properties, Nick established Danhouse in 1993 in order to offer a comprehensive and privately owned service, focused entirely on client requirements. With extensive experience in both the Manned Guarding and Property Management Industries, having been both provider and end user in previous management roles, Nick has ensured Danhouse remain entirely focused on the needs of our client’s and the service level delivery from a customer’s perspective rather than those of our own.

Carole Wood

Company Secretary

Carole is the Company Secretary of Danhouse and has been involved with company since its inception in 1993. Carole took over the management of the Accounts Department in 2003 and is responsible for the preparation and submission of financial reports, including reporting to the HMRC and Companies House. Recently Carole has been key in taking the financial reporting of Danhouse forward by transferring the accounts system to Xero, in order to comply with Digital Reporting. Carole is also involved in the administration of the payroll and many other administration aspects of the business.

Sarah Duncan

Business Operations Manager

Sarah is the Danhouse Business Operations Manager and has been involved with the company since 2017. Joining as an Office Manger Sarah has a wealth of knowledge of the Security Sector and recently taking up at HR Apprenticeship to support the company’s growth and continue her own personal development. Sarah successfully supports all departments within the business as well as enhancing employee relations and managing complex challenges along the way.
